Royal enfield standard 350

My very first bike.
This post is all about my experience with royal enfield.
So it was 20 October, when i first booked my bike at that damn moment i was so happy, the seller told me that it will take of about 30 days for the bike to come(also told me usually it comes under 15 days). So i was waiting for my bike. I called them on and after, 15 days but they told me that it'll take of about 30 days. For me to receive my bike and on one day they call me and told me that your bike has come to showroom, you can ready the cash and do the billing of your bike.! I was so happy. My waiting for the bike was for 30 days but hell its seems 1 year for me. Due to the excitement. Later when i received my bike i was so happy on 20 november.
Coming to the part where bike played a part of my life.!
I am a traveller, i love going place though i am a college guy i couldn't afford to travel a lot. 
Initial stage of my bike-(first 500km)
I ride my bike like a baby. Had never gone above 40. I was so careful about my bike because it was my new bike.! First 500 km went well for me like a tortoise in my bike(though am not fond of speed). So it was all okay for me. First 500 km are always the major stage for the bike.! It needs to be maintained like a baby. Later when i hit 497 km, i gave my bike to the royal enfield showroom for the first servicing. Which cost me of about 1010. Free services are the ones where you need to buy yourself with parts and engine oils. Though the labour charges cost free.         At this time my bike was giving the mileage of about 20-30 kmpl. 

After first service- (currently my bike is at 2000km)

After the servicing i first checked my bikes engine oil as weather it was changed or not. To check the oil you need to put your bike in middle stand and start your engine for 1 minute and then you'll notice that the yellow liquid has risen up where the engine is. This shows that your engine oil is newly filled if it wasn't then the engine oil would have burnt and would have been black. So i checked and it was all okay with my bike. The day after i serviced my bike i saw that there was a tyre puncture on rear tyre the very big nail was in it. It broked my heart as my bike have only ridden about 536km. :( but i somehow manage to open the rear tyre of my bike(as i couldn't pull my bull) :p though the puncture shop was nearby my house. But when i managed to open the tyre and lift it up and got it up checked by the mechanic, he acknowledged me as he told me that many mechanics still find difficult to open the royal enfield tyre. That was the happy part of mine. (you own the bull, so you need to feed it with engine oil and also need to clean it up, and should also learn to know about the bull). I always clean my bike once in a week and water wash it once in a month. Also chain lubricant is also important whenever you feel like the chain is dirty.
